Hi, I'm Hrishikesh H. Pillai

I'm an Master of Engineering (by Research) student at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in the College of Computing and Data Science, where I work with Prof. Erik Cambria on explainable multimodal conversational sentiment analysis.

My research is on parameter-efficient multimodal foundation models; self-supervised representation learning across speech, music and general audio, and small audio-language models. I'm just as interested in the trust questions around them: uncertainty estimation, mechanistic interpretability and explainability. Before this I was a Junior Research Fellow at LEAP Lab, IISc Bangalore, with Prof. Sriram Ganapathy.
